Dogtooth and Doc's

It's Friday!!! I think I'm happier about that than I should be given that I'm actually working tomorrow, but I'm really looking forward to my day off on Sunday. A full day of relaxation is definitely on the cards!

Today I'm excited to be able to share another collab with you all, this time, Allure Boutique. Allure are based in Brighton and are currently in the process of developing their website but in the meantime sell a lot of their stuff via Twitter and eBay and when I saw this gorgeous dress on another blogger on their twitter feed I had to see if they were interested in collabing with me... and they were, surprisingly.

I love this dress, the different checks and the whole mono feel makes it seem much more expensive than it was. The only problem I had with it was that the waist was quite loose and I felt as though I didn't have much definition but a waist belt has sorted out that problem nicely, and it co-ordinates with my favourite Dr Martens.

What do you think to this dress? Would you have styled it differently?

Now if only I could get my hair to co-operate, life would be so much simpler!

July Wishlist

I think all of this works really well together, I'm totally in love with all of it. The Chelsea Boots are really similar to the Dr Marten ones that I've seen a lot of bloggers wearing, and who can blame them?! They look amazing and work with so many different outfits. They might be slightly pricey given that they're New Look, but they're leather and versatile.

I saw Llymlrs' had bought the Topshop glow stick in her last Topshop haul and I love a good highlighted cheek, so I've added that to my wishlist too. I'm secretly thinking that if I can stretch my budget to this beaut collection of purchases it might work as my London wardrobe as I need to travel light given that I'm going by train!

Black Tied and Casual

Hi lovelies. So today I'm very pleased to be able to show you my new jewellery from the fabulous BlackTied which came yesterday. The lovely Laura was generous enough to agree to doing a collab with me and I was really spoilt for choice when it came to picking out something to order. I'm seriously in love with these pieces, I feel like they make a statement but they're still dainty enough to be wearable everyday and I most definitely am going to be wearing these everyday! There's such an amazing range of BlackTied stuff to choose from that this is certainly not going to be the last you see of their collection on my blog, there's so much I want! This is what I'm after next payday...

So the challenge today was coming up with an outfit to showcase the pendant in the best way possible, I wanted to go with black but I'm seriously lacking black tops at the moment (I need to get on that very soon!) so instead I decided to go with a white look, pale and interesting if you will!

Co-ordination

So, I've finally relented and given in to one of the most popular trends of the summer and I must say, I'm wondering why it took me so long. I ordered this amazing co-ord set from the fabulous Missguided the other day and thanks to their super quick delivery, it was delivered yesterday. I think I'm in love.

I think it looks really Rennie Mackintosh inspired and I love a bit of abstract art. I was initially skeptical about how the quality was going to be given that the whole co-ord came in at under £25 but I'm pleasantly surprised, the fabric is thick enough to be flattering, it's comfortable and quite frankly, I think you'll be sick of the sight of it by the end of the summer!

I understand now why the whole nation is going crazy for co-ordinates. It feels like a more wearable take on a playsuit, and who doesn't love a good playsuit. It's definitely one for those summer nights and I've immediately started browsing Missguided's other co-ordinate sets... there are some absolute beauties. Next on my want list is this...

Tiffany Yellow Premium Blazer and Neela Lemon Tailored Belted Shorts  

I absolutely love the pastel lemon colour of this set, and think it could work both day and night. Much like the co-ord I'm wearing today. Today I haven't really dressed it up, I've just donned my faithful Topshop boots and some frilly ankle socks, but with some barely there sandals and maybe a black kimono I think this would work really well in the evening as well, what do you lovelies think?
